We have a unique opportunity to walk through this crisis with hope as we trust in the Lord. We want people to ask us about our hope.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
But do this with gentleness and respect. (I Peter 3:15)
Let’s pray for those opportunities and then be alert for them! Remember, our hope is not in this world and our citizenship is in heaven. Let’s be careful about complaining or making this situation into a political issue. We know the One who sits on the throne; worthy of all praise; died and rose again to give us life and hope greater than this world!
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because
the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (I John 4:4).
Together in Christ’s Service,
Rev. Patrick Lanaghan
