John2:13-22: Jesus comes to the temple and is ashamed of what He finds. In a space meant for worship and prayer, Jesus finds people selling animals for sacrifices and people changing out their money for the correct currency. God’s temple has become an open market. Upon Jesus’ orders for everything to be removed, some of the Jews there demanded a sign to show them on what authority He commanded the temple to be cleaned.
