SAM HOUSTON WAYSIDE

Located just to the west of Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church is a wayside and monument commemorating the birthplace of Sam Houston who was born in a small house behind.  Until his family moved to Tennessee when he was a teenager he attended Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church.
