The worship committee has determined that we now need the involvement of the entire congregation in this ministry. This is a change for this congregation, BUT it is a new way for all of us to be a part of giving to the glory of God each Sunday. Further, it is an opportunity for members to remember and honor loved ones and special occasions in their lives. For example, flowers might be placed on any given Sunday to mark the anniversary of the death of a loved one, a special birthday or anniversary, or some other significant event in someone’s life. It is our hope that many of you will take part in this new opportunity! Here’s how this will work:
For many years a lovely caring lady, Mary Kemp, with the help of her sister, Sally, shared her love of flowers and floral design talents with her church family at Timber Ridge and all those who worshiped with us. Whether for holiday or special services, the 250th anniversary of TRPC, or so many, many other worship services she brought the beauty of God's creation into God's house of worship on timber ridge. Her dedication allowed us to see God's love in the beauty of the flowers she provided and her freely sharing her love with us. In July 2004, after a long battle with cancer, she went to her heavenly home and is surely gladdening the hearts of her heavenly family in her own special way.
